Finally! Another piece for the 100 Pic Challenge!

For the topic "Foreign" I thought of a diagram of the members of the various members of the underground railroad system put together by the ever-resourceful Alex Xanatos to rescue all the poor supressed gargoyles in New Liberty.

On the left we have the Crimson Pig Express, run by Mac, Piccolo, and his granddaughter, Fio, and the three cities they're stationed in.
And on the right, we have the Rescuers Railway with Jake, Bernard, and Bianca (yes, the ones from the Rescuers movies).

First off, going through and coloring all six of these characters. I'm not sure I like how some of them came out. I REALLY don't like how Bianca and Bernard came out, and I'm a little iffy about Mac, cuz her face looks a little contorted to me. =/
I really like how Jake, Piccolo, and Fio came out, tho. So 3 out of 6 ain't bad.
Also I added tiny flags under each character to signify where they're from. So yes, they're all foreign to New Liberty.

The map was a lot of fun to put together. It was made by taking screenshots on Google Earth and then editing them in Photoshop.
Then all I had to do was mount it on a piece of parchment, label it, and lay it on a dark wood desk........ or something.

When I was finishing this pic, I realized that Bianca and Bernard were the only ones I never gave a surname to in my fic. So I was having the hardest time coming up with a surname for them. I knew I'd only have to come up with one for Bernard, because in my fic they are married.
Finally, after going through several suggestions, I ended up with the name Wilco.
I got the name from a series of old-school PC games called Space Quest, the hero of which is a hapless janitor named Roger Wilco, who really just has MASSIVELY strange luck and winds up accidentally saving the universe.
Anyway, I figured I'd give Bernard the name Wilco because he is also a janitor-made-hero, although in his case it wasn't by a series of freak accidents.
