Woot! Entry number TWO!
Number 38 on the 100 Pic Challenge, titled "Abandoned".
Naturally, I thought of Gold as an egg being left at the Happy Lesson Orphanage.
I did almost all of this in Photoshop, with the exception of the note which I did in Illustrator.
The background is a photo I took of my front porch in mid-afternoon and then filtered the hell out of it to match the foreground. It was a pain in the butt removing all that sunlight and making it dark like I wanted, but it would've been more of a pain in the butt getting the right kind of light at night with no flash ruining the darkness, especially since we don't have a working porch light.

The note on the egg is only missing one line, but it's otherwise verbatim from the fic.
I left out the line that said "Her name is Gold Demona" because I'd like to see about selling this as a print, and one can't do that with fanart or fanfiction due to copyright infringements.
Now, it doesn't say anywhere in the picture that it's a gargoyle egg. It's just an egg in a basket with a note on it asking to take care of the child inside.
